Left on the Cutting Room Floor: The Jinko Girls You Never Met

Not every Jinko Girl makes the final cut. Some get close—so close—but for one reason or another, they don’t quite fit the vision. Too fierce, too soft, the wrong vibe, the right vibe but the wrong outfit… you get the idea.

But here’s the thing: “left behind” doesn’t mean “not worth seeing.” These almost-girls, the ones hanging out in Jinko’s MidJourney vault (and yes, it’s a vault—you should see the folders 🙄)? They’re still stunning. They’re the what-ifs, the almosts, the "wait, why didn’t we pick her again?"
Some were just a shade off from perfection. Others had the look but not the energy—like a girl rocking a couture gown but with the vibe of someone stuck in a waiting room. 😂 And then there are the wildcards, the ones that went off-script and made us both go, “Wait, that’s kinda cool… but what are we looking at?”

Take the recent Rei and Asuka-inspired girls. Jinko was on a roll, blending Evangelion cool with our signature style. The ones you’ve seen? Chef’s kiss. 😘 But the rejects? Some were this close—like Rei with an outfit straight out of a Harajuku fever dream or Asuka with just a little too much attitude (yes, it’s possible).

So, here’s a little tribute to the ones that didn’t get their spotlight… until now. Because creativity isn’t just about what you finish—it’s about the messy, chaotic, beautiful middle, too. The cutting room floor isn’t where ideas go to die. It’s where they wait. Patiently. Stylishly. Probably rolling their eyes at us. 😂
Because every great creation leaves a few secrets behind. 💖
