A demonic comet shattered the order of mankind.
All that remained was fire, faith, and madness.
Hi, my name is Cita – and today, for the first time, I open the gates to CometsFall, my passion project.

CometsFall – A World of Light, Iron, and Madness
What remains when hope has long been buried?
That question was the beginning of everything.
The first spark for a world unlike anything before.
The year 537 changed everything.
What is CometsFall?
CometsFall is a dark, grotesque, and spiritually overloaded world.
The story takes place in an alternate timeline. In the year 537, a comet plunged the world into endless darkness. It brought with it a demonic surge – spreading like a plague across the continent.
By the year 1949, humanity exists only in a final bastion. Only about 10% of the continent remains under human control. At its center stands the colossal palace of the Sanctum Order – spanning thousands of kilometers.
Surrounding it: trenches, scorched earth, and a horizon lost to a dying world.
Two powerful orders have been at war for centuries:
The Sanctum Order
The Ordo Ferratae Inquisitionis 537
CometsFall is not a classic fantasy setting. It fuses sacred aesthetics, imagery of world wars, trench warfare iconography, and religious fanaticism into its own unique cosmos. A place without redemption. A place where hope died long ago.
Why CometsFall?
I grew tired of polished fantasy. Of prophecies, elves, and chosen heroes.
With CometsFall, I want to break that mold. Here, there's no hope for a happy ending. Only duty, guilt, rage, and the will to go on – even when everything seems lost.
This is my first attempt at building such a world – and it's my personal counter-design to traditional fantasy. I wanted something original. Something that reflects how I imagine it should be.
A world full of contradictions, madness, and harsh truths. It’s not about good or evil. It’s about guilt, sacrifice, and fanatical belief in doing what’s right. About people who fight even though they are broken – because they must, because there's nothing else left.
Two factions. One war.
In future posts, I’ll explore the two main orders of CometsFall in more detail.
But here’s a first glimpse:
✨ The Sanctum Order
The highest religious and judicial authority of mankind. Not just a war order, but the living embodiment of divine will.
It sees itself as the Voice of Light, the Guardian of Truth, and the Executor of God's judgment. Its purpose: to maintain the balance between faith and reality.
No army marches without its blessing. No sentence is passed without its seal.
The Sanctum Order issues mandates, sanctifies wars, and decides over life and damnation – all in the name of a higher, unquestionable truth.
In a world consumed by damnation, the Sanctum once offered hope.
But the Order strayed from its path. Corruption spread through the palace like a plague, tainting what was once the holiest institution of all.

⚙️ Ordo Ferratae Inquisitionis 537
A fanatical, iron-willed force of inquisition – founded centuries after the fall.
A last alliance of surviving nations, embodying the militant madness of survival.
Where the Sanctum passes judgment, the Ordo fights – trench by trench, street by street. Against the spawn, against chaos – against their own humanity.
The Ordo is the iron fist of mankind, refusing to die. It operates from the trenches surrounding the Last Bastion – humanity’s final liveable zone.
They defend it with fanatic faith, exorcist firestorms, and dogmatic discipline.
The Ordo has long crossed the line of orthodoxy:
Demonic energies are weaponised, rituals are militarised, humans become living weapons.
But all of this happens in the name of the final duty – in the belief that it is right.
Where are we in time?
The year is 1949. Over 1,400 years after the fall of the comet. More than a millennium of holy war has deformed the world. Over 90% of the Earth is lost, corrupted. Unspeakable horrors plague the lands – and few know what still lurks there.
Only in the far northwest does human life remain: The Last Bastion.
At its center: the radiant palace of the Sanctum Order – larger than any city.
Its tower reaches the edge of the atmosphere, shining across the world and into space.
Around it lies an endless ring of trenches, machine-cloisters, and exorcism stations – held by the Ordo Ferratae.
In the present, progress has ground to a halt. The last two factions wage war in a senseless belief that they are right. The powers they wield are born of desperation – they believe they might turn the tide.
But in truth, they may have already sealed the fate of the last humans.
Most just refuse to see it...

So... what now?
What do I want to achieve with CometsFall? Honestly? The possibilities are huge – and we’ll see where this journey takes me.
I’ve got lots of ideas. Some are still forming, others will come. It’s the first time I’ve built a world like this – and I learn something new every day.
Maybe it’ll become a book. Maybe a visual project. Maybe it’s just a place where ideas are allowed to live.
Many of you have asked if it’ll become an anime – and don’t worry: it’s on my radar! But like everything in life, it takes time. And I want to give it that time.
I’ll keep you updated!
Final Words
Thank you for reading all the way to the end.
CometsFall is far from finished.
But the idea lives – and day by day, it grows stronger.
And sometimes, that’s all it takes to create something meaningful.
Stay tuned. It’s going to get dark.
